Welcome to Caledonian Casting

Scotland's newest precious & non-precious metal casting bureau

Caledonian Casting is aimed at independent jewellery designer/makers who need a bespoke casting service. My aim is not to try and compete with the large, highly commercialised, casting bureaus but, like other independent designer/makers, aim to provide my clients with a highly personalised ’boutique’ casting & CAD service with a personal touch.

I am happy to cast ‘one-off’ single items or full collections, offering high quality work at competitive prices, get in touch today for a no obligation quote or even if you just want to know more about what I offer. There are some guide prices in the Casting FAQ, also, take a look round the web site as well, you’ll find lots of useful information, particularly if you’re new to outsourcing your casting work.

Casting Quotes

Getting a no obligation quote for casting work is easy. Just email your requirements and I’ll get back to you with a written quotation. Take a look at the guidelines to make sure you tell me everything I need to know.

Casting FAQ

If you want to know a bit more about casting and what I do, the processes used and your casting options, then have a look through the FAQ list. Just get in touch if your question isn’t covered, I’ll be happy to answer it and perhaps add it to the FAQ.

Vacuum casting with various precious & non-precious metals, Caledonian casting offers a boutique casting service at competitive prices to independent jewellery designer/makers. Obviously I’m also happy to speak to any other creative practitioners about the possibilities of including cast metals in their work.

Caledonian Casting also provides a full CAD service, moving your designs from the pages of your sketchbook into the virtual world. This allows you and your clients to visualise the designs in advance of manufacture.

Taking the design process to the next level after creating digital models in the CAD environment I can also provide you with resin 3D prints of your designs, these are even better than a render for design realisation purposes, particularly for clients, and before committing to metal. Various resins are available, contact me for more details.
